 Intern Code of Conduct

As a Intern for MME-Internship360, you play a vital role in our mission. To ensure a positive and productive experience for everyone involved, we expect all Interns to adhere to the following code of conduct:

1. Respect and Inclusion:

        Treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and consideration, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other characteristic.

        Embrace and celebrate diversity and inclusion within our Intern community.

2. Professionalism:

        Uphold a high standard of professionalism in your interactions with fellow Interns, staff, and the individuals we serve.

        Maintain a positive attitude and represent MME-Internship360 in a positive light.

3. Reliability:

        Honor your commitments and fulfill your Intern responsibilities promptly and effectively.

        Communicate any schedule changes or conflicts in a timely manner.

4. Confidentiality:

        Respect the privacy and confidentiality of individuals, staff, and fellow Interns.

        Do not disclose any confidential or sensitive information without proper authorization.

5. Communication:

        Foster open and honest communication with fellow Interns, staff, and those we serve.

        Report any concerns or issues to the appropriate person within the organization.

6. Safety:

        Prioritize the safety of yourself and others.

        Follow all safety guidelines and procedures provided by MME-Internship360.

7. Accountability:

        Take responsibility for your actions and their impact on others.

        Be receptive to feedback and continuously strive for personal and collective improvement.

8. Cooperation:

        Collaborate effectively with fellow Interns and staff to achieve our shared goals.

        Be flexible and adaptable to changes in the Intern program or project.

9. Compliance with Policies:

        Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all policies and procedures of MME-Internship360.

        Report any violations or concerns regarding the code of conduct promptly.

10. Intern Recognition:

        Acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of your fellow Interns and express gratitude for their contributions.

By Interning with MME-Internship360, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including termination of your Intern status.

Expected Behaviour and Actions

        Treat everyone with empathy and respect, regardless of his/her race, colour, gender, sexuality, language, religion, religious belief, heritage, political/other opinion, national/ethnic/social origin or property/disability/birth/other status

        Ensure that your broadcasting location, clothing, surrounding environment, language, behaviour, and body language is professional, appropriate, and culturally sensitive.

        Listen to everyone and respect their views.

        Keep all personal information about Beneficiaries(if shared by them) or their parents/guardians confidential and secure and ensure that such information is dispensed to only those individuals who are legitimately entitled to it.

        Use your full name as a display name in virtual spaces that you interact with beneficiaries, co- Intern and Mentor/s.

Prohibited Behaviour and Actions

        Do not use language or behaviour towards anyone that is inappropriate, harassing, abusive, sexually provocative, demeaning intimidating, offensive, discriminatory or culturally insensitive.

        Do not take pictures, screenshots or videos  of any Internship360 sessions without prior permission of the Mentor

        Do not share your personal details with the beneficiaries.

        Do not use abbreviations, nicknames or characters that resemble alphabets.

        Do not interact with beneficiaries  or Mentors over Facebook, Instagram, , Snapchat, TikTok or Twitter or any other social media format.

        Do not reschedule the session, in the rare case that you need to reschedule, give due notice if your availability changes.

        Take responsibility for your actions and decisions.

        Learn from mistakes and work towards continuous improvement.

        Share knowledge, support colleagues, and work towards common goals.

8. Workplace Safety:

        Prioritize the health and safety of all individuals in the workplace.

        Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.

9. Social and Environmental Responsibility:

        Demonstrate commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

        Strive to minimize the organization's ecological footprint and contribute positively to the community.

10. Conflict Resolution:

        Address conflicts professionally and constructively.

        Seek resolution through open communication and mediation whenever possible.

11. Responsible Use of Resources:

        Use organizational resources efficiently and responsibly.

        No retaliation will be taken against individuals reporting violations in good faith.

Violations of this code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to verbal or written warnings, suspension, or termination of employment or association with MME-Internship360

Mentor Code of Conduct

Effective Date: Date of Registration of organisation

1. Professionalism:

        Uphold the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions with mentees, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

        Represent the organization positively and maintain a positive and constructive attitude.

2. Commitment:

        Demonstrate a commitment to the mentoring relationship and allocate sufficient time and resources to support the mentee's development.

        Be punctual and adhere to scheduled meetings and commitments.

3. Confidentiality:

        Respect the confidentiality of information shared by the mentee.

        Do not disclose any confidential information without explicit permission.

4. Respect for Diversity and Inclusion:

        Embrace and respect the diversity of mentees, including differences in background, culture, gender, and perspectives.

        Create an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages open dialogue.

5. Clear Communication:

        Communicate openly, honestly, and effectively with mentees.

        Provide constructive feedback in a respectful and tactful manner.

6. Setting Boundaries:

        Clearly define and communicate the scope and boundaries of the mentoring relationship.

        Avoid any situations that may be perceived as a conflict of interest.

7. Development and Growth:

        Support the mentee's professional and personal development goals.

12. Conclusion of Mentoring Relationship:

        Conclude the mentoring relationship in a professional and respectful manner.

        Provide guidance on transitioning to other sources of support as needed.

Violations of this code of conduct may result in the termination of the mentoring relationship and, in serious cases, may be subject to further organizational actions.
